You can only get Charmander in Pallet Town and you can’t catch a Ditto.

Every time I try and save it won’t. I click save and turn it off then I load the game and my save file isn’t there. How can I fix this?

Can I transfer save data?
What do you mean by transfer? Your game’s save data should be located in C:\Users\[Name]\Saved Games\Pokémon Fusion Generation\Game.rxdata so you can copy or do whatever you want with that file.
I got stuck on articuno’s ice cave. and there is no way out,escape ropes don’t work,and there is no way to get back after capturing articuno. it must be a bug! i played for hours and now im stuck with no way of getting out of the cave.. that was bad..

Okay, everything should be working now. Just re-download the game. I added a rock so you can backtrack and escape ropes should work as well.

Get the notes from Professor Oak, then head for New Bark Town.

Go west from Viridian City, enter the Pokemon League front gate and take the door on the left, and follow the path through Tohjo Falls. When you get to New Bark Town you should be able to to enter the underground path to Goldenrod.
So after you bring Bill home,what’s left to be done ?
After you’ve encountered all 101 Fusions, you can get Rayquaza back from Oak. You could try catching every obtainable Pokemon Fusion (there are 36 of them). You can rematch the Elite Four, battle Red, go to Cerulean Cave, and explore the wreckage under New Bark Town. There are a couple Easter eggs/bonus scenes, including one in Ecruteak City. Once you’ve seen that and accompanied Bill back home, that’s pretty much it story-wise.
What is this game programmed in electrovert? and why not open-source (it would be useful so we could port it to linux if necessary)?
The game was made with RPG Maker XP. I don’t really have a problem sharing the project file or anything but I don’t know how helpful it would be.
Meh, maybe not, I don’t know anyone else who has used RPGM before…still, maybe when/if you are done with the game you could release the project file anyway? Then you can call it open-source, the Linux people will love you (I think it runs alright in Linux) and Richard Stallman won’t kill you. It would also mean that if we got RPGM we could do a similar game using your project file if you released it under a permissive license (Creative Commons Attribution for example).

i found a bug or something like that. i caught a metapod level 7 and i made it to level up and it stil doesnt evolved and usually a metapod starts evolveing at lv 7 so it should evolve at lv 8 than what happened help me pls or tell me the lv when it will evolve pls thx

Hey, really great game. I just beat Fushcia gym and did the whole Safari Zone stuff, May told me to see Oak, but whenever I go to him and get the Masterball, when I leave the lab I get an error saying StackLevelTooDeep, or something similar to that, and the game crashes. I’ going to do the Saffron gym and ignore getting the ball for now, but can anything be done??

Tried redownloading, then tried again. This time, I have this error message as I leave the lab:

It’s similar to the other one, but slightly different to the one jj posted. Sorry for the problem.
Also tried one more time, and the error this time was the same, but line 191, so it seems there’s quite a few problems with this. Sorry, again, hopefully you fix it sooon. Enjoying the game so far (Btw, slightly unrelated, but where do you get surf?)
I also got Pokemon Contorols line 2, so there seems like there’s a lot with this.
Very weird… Sorry, I thought I had it. I will figure it out though. Also, you get surf pretty much as soon as you leave the lab.

The Saffron Gym? You need to have a Pokemon with Brick Break (get the TM in the Safari Zone or buy from Celadon Dept Store) and break down the barrier in Saffron City, and then the barriers inside.

Hey, nothing too urgent, just a slight bug. Every so often, when I’m in the bag, the game crashes and I get the following error message:
Script ‘PokemonBag’ Line721: NoMethodError occured.
undefined method `>=’ for nil:NilClass
It’s not too big of a problem, I just make sure to save whenever I go into the bag, but I figured I’d bring it to you attention in case it haden’t been already.
Oh, and slightly off on a tangent, but how do I find the password for the secret button in Bill’s House? Oh, and the locked door on the S.S. Anne (Not the password one from when ou were with Bill, the one that says ‘It’s Locked…’) I assume it serves some purpose? If so, what, and how do I get it to open?

The password isn’t anywhere in the game. I wanted to see if people could figure it out on their own. There’s a key to open the secret room on the S.S. Anne hidden in one of the other rooms. You should be able to find it with the itemfinder.

This is a really nice game, but is there anywhere where I can get a dawn stone? This being based off of FireRed/LeafGreen there wouldn’t normally be one, and I just can’t figure out where you might have put it. Other that that, this is an amazing game.

The gift doesn’t seem to work. I did try updating the game, but it gives me an “Script PokemonMysterygift line 277: NoMethodError”. I tried updating the game, but that still didn’t fix it.

You do need an Internet connection. Then after you’ve started a game and saved it you should be ready to download mystery gifts by choosing the option from the start screen.
thats why i wasnt able to do it. the laptop i play it on cannot connect to the internet. so im transferring it to the one i use for internet and taking it from there. thank you

Yeah, just make sure the file Game.rxdata is saved in C:/Users/your account/Saved Games/Pokemon Fusion Generation/

Thanks. It’s not a GBA file because it isn’t a romhack. The game was developed as a PC game. The Pokemon Essentials toolkit just mimics the style of the GBA games.

Does it crash before loading the title screen or your save file? How old is your game? Try downloading the newest version if you haven’t already.

Hi, about the new content added in the recent update:
I got the Igglybat & Beautichop, but I can’t seem to access the other new stuff, including Miserade & Fusion seperation, so I assume there’s some event I’m supposed to do to get those things unlocked? If so, where can I find it? Or am I just looking in the wrong places for Miserade & Seperation??
To separate Pokemon you have to catch all the Fusions (minus Miserade, Rhydark, and Luvitar) first.
And to get Miserade? Or is that after you’re able to seperate?
You have to separate a certain Fusion before you can get Miserade.
For unlocking fusion separation, you said we have to catch all fusions? does that include the starter fusions, because to get all of those you have to trade the 2nd gen starters for them, but I don’t think you can actually get the second gen starters anywhere. Or am I just missing something?
You can catch them in New Bark Town.
I’m absolutely loving the game so far! The only problem I’ve run into is that the Sandslash for Zangoose trade in Cerulean City isn’t working for me.

Okay, so I just downloaded the newest version of the game, and I’ve tried to load up my save file, saved at Vermillion City, but every time I try to load the game, it says “The map is corrupt. The game cannot continue.” What can I do to fix this problem aside from reverting to a previous save? D: Is there any way to rewrite my save data so that I can load from a different location and continue from where I left off? Please let me know. Thank you. D:

Hey there, I just learned Payday (Meowth) in the rock tunnel. I used it twice on a wild Onix while fighting with the team magma ally on my side, and an error message appeared when I got the message that I received 200 bucks. Foolishly, I closed the window, but it was something about adding the funds. Any idea what this is about? Ill try to recreate for you.

Sometimes the arrow keys do not work when I use a menu in the game. I adjust the button settings in the help but that isn’t a permanent fix. When I reset the values I still have the problem.

Talk to the Beedrill (it’s easiest to stand in one spot and wait for it to fly by and just keep hitting the spacebar) and either defeat it or catch it.
I accidentally released a pokemon who was holding my exp share…. is there anything I can do?
Also.. the daycare lady wont give me back my pokemon.
Uh oh. I will look into the daycare issue and perhaps make it so you can’t release Pokemon holding items.
The game is updated now and you should be able to get your Pokemon back and also get your Exp Share back if you go to the place where you got it on the train.

Some stuff with trades, The dusclops trade, does not evolve into Dusknoir. The voltorb for shink/electrike does not work altogether.
Also, my version I downloaded in mid-late februray does not allow misdreavous to evolve with dusk stone.

when trading rapidash for Feebas, feebas does not evolve into milotic. Also, tangela does not learn ancient power through leveling up so it cannot evolve but I did manage to find a tangrowth in the wild. Not sure if that was intentional or not that tangela cannot evolve.

I right-clicked one of the font folders after I high-lighted all of them and couldn’t find anything that said install.
Try installing them from Control Panel instead. How to do that will depend on which operating system you’re using.
I skiped that step and went ahead and tried to open game.exe and it opened ok, but it said that I didn’t install the fonts. I preesed enter and it said that there was fonts install and that i needed to restart the game so I did, and now I playing the game perfectly fine.
Yeah, the game will work fine without installing the fonts, it will just look better/more readable if you do.
Where is surf exactly? I just beat Sabrina and I really need to get to Cinnabar Island.
You get Surf in Pallet Town after the Safari Zone.

Been playing this but since rhydark is mystery gift from Jan 2013 now I can’t get rayquaza nor complete my fusion dex…just…wow
Mystery Gift Pokemon shouldn’t count toward either of those (shouldn’t prevent you from unlocking anything) unless there’s a bug I don’t know about. But Rhydark will be back.
If rhydark won’t be counted, then I’ve seen 102 fusion pokemon (101 without rhydark) but prof oak said I only saw 100 fusion pokemon, is this a bug?

^ This error comes when you get onto Cinnabar Islands from the inward corner of the front of the island.. in front of the board near the pokemon research centre (I think)
Try getting on to the island from the corner of the pokemon centre to the north side after using ‘surf’

Hello, I’m trying to install this. For when you say to install the Font files, where is the option on WinRAR that allows you to install said features?
You install the fonts after you’ve used WinRar to extract them. Once you’ve done that you can close WinRar, go to the extracted folder, open Fonts, highlight all the font files, right click any one of them, and click Install. Alternatively, you can install them from Control Panel (you have to do it that way in older versions of Windows).

M’kay, I love this game, but I must ask where F036 might be for my Pokédex… I fought everyone in S.S. Anne, even the locked door, and still haven’t seen it. If it is at a gym, then is there a possible way of rebattling the trainers inside? Please help me out? Thank you for your time. Also, was there a point to the locked door?
F036 is Reliviper. It’s used by a trainer in Fuschia Gym and another one in Seafoam Islands. The one in Fuschia Gym can only be battled before defeating Koga, but you can go to Seafoam Islands and battle the other one at any time.
As for the locked room, I wanted to put myself in the game the same way Game Freak put themselves in the real games. It’s just supposed to be a fun bonus challenge.

Oh, I have another question if you don’t mind. I could not capture Spuk when the time occurred… Is there perhaps a chance to capture it even though I already encountered it? Oh, and if it is no brother, could you name off the fusions it is possible to capture? Please?
It won’t appear again if you knock it out. My advice would be to save before you encounter event Pokemon, and if you fail to capture it, just restart your game without saving.

Just keep switching between maps looking for them. if one flees, move to another map.
is there anyway you can change the controls so you can move with wsad so then its easier to play the game with one hand? This game is so amazing, it just keeps surprising me the more i play it\

It’s pretty confusing, but the Keyboard tab maps the actual keys on your keyboard to the trigger names. I don’t know if the arrow key triggers are actually changeable, but if you wanted to swap the X and Z keys for example, you would go to the Keyboard tab and change it to Z: B / X: A.

Hey Electrovert, me again, (Reported a bug AGES ago). Still loving your game, just got back to it recently after seeing you’d updated all the sprites. So I Downloaded the new version, and went to my pokedex to look through, and I get the following error message, and my game proceeds to close afterwards:

undefined method ‘[]‘ for nil:NilClass’
Dunno if it’s something on my end, but I tried redownloading and it didn’t help. Oh, and not sure if it’s related, but my computer kept telling me that the game.exe was a security risk. Not an issue, but figured you’d wanna know that too.

Did the error pop up as soon as you opened your Pokedex, or when you tried to do something else?
The security risk message happens a lot with RPG Maker games, I don’t know why exactly. Nothing’s wrong with the game, anti-virus software is just picky about EXE files.

Okay, thanks about the security stuff, I figured it was nothing major, but there was no harm in telling you.
And it was as soon as I opened the pokedex. I can get a screenshot, in fact:

The game auto-closes as soon as I press okay. It’s worth noting that music plays until the game closes. Hope this helps, and that you can fix this (Or tell me what I’m doing wrong) as soon as possible.

I just recently downloaded this game and I have to say, it’s fucking amazing! I have been playing Pokemon since I was a kid and this may well be the best one I have played, I love the story and incorporation of all the regions into one game. I do have a few questions, however. I liked it so much that I got a few of my friends to download the game too. I’m just curious to see if when the Pokemon center opens the second flood, can I trade and battle with my friends that have the game too? If so, this game is hands down the best Pokemon ever. If not, I would recommend that because it would complete the whole Pokemon experience with friends and would be awesomeee. Also, I’m big into collecting every Pokemon that I can once I finish the story. I’ve noticed that there is no way to see the location of where to find Pokemon in the Pokedex after you have encountered them. That is my only real complaint. But this is a fantastic game, thank you very much! I’ll be sure to spread the word about it, and would appreciate a reply.
Thanks a lot. There’s no multiplayer functionality right now, but I would love to have it eventually. I’m not sure if i have the time or skills to write a multiplayer script from scratch, but maybe a future version of Pokemon Essentials (which Pokemon Fusion Generation is based on) will include it or someone else will make one, then i’ll definitely put it in. As for the Pokedex nest feature, it was really buggy and it wasn’t useful for Pokemon Fusions since they don’t have random wild encounters, so I just took it out altogether. There isn’t an option to change the difficulty. Is there a particular part where you’re having trouble?
Hey electrovert is it alright that the rocks in the water (the barrier ones) appears like shadow to me? no rocks are there only shadows. Thanks again.
sometimes pokemon dont get damaged by burn. Just so you know. Game is still amazing
Hey again Electrovert, still loving this game! Just thought I would give you a heads up that there is something wrong with the pokeball catch rates. I have tried 6 times to catch the Articuno, saving a restarting. I have thrown like 30 balls each time, with it being asleep and a very tiny sliver of life and I cannot manage to catch it. For some reason the original pokeball has been getting three rolls before it pops out, the great ball with 2 sometimes 3, and the ultra ball has never gotten to roll more than a max of one time before Articuno breaks free. It’s like the catch rates are reversed. I’m giving up on Articuno now ha. But I have also noticed that it is easier to catch with a pokeball than the ultra or great ball everywhere else too. I quit buying the other ones and now just use a straight up pokeball for catching everything.

I’ve installed all the RTP’s for playing, but when i played the game, just when i opened it it suddenly stopped responding and it said “RGSS plater has stopped working.” What should i do? Thanks.
Did you get any errors when you extracted it? Make sure you have all the DLLs, Game.ini, and the Data folder in the same folder as Game.exe.
Hi, I downloaded the game and installed the fonts, but when I run the .exe I get an error “could not load script” and then the game shuts itself off. You know what’s up?

After you’ve installed WinRAR, highlight the rar(s), right click, then click “Extract to PokemonFusionGeneration/”
Hi. I just downloaded the file and everything, but there seems to be some folders and files missing, mostly the fonts and some scripts. Do you think you can fix it? I really want to play this game.

It does that with mine. I went back to the wikia and used the part 1 and part 2 downloads to get the rest of the audio files.
Try re-downloading it.
